NOTE ! fastmenu GOLD is a hard drive menuing application
and should not be run on a floppy only system. You
must also have a VGA color card and monitor installed
to operate fastmenu GOLD.
IF you get a message: Input runtime module path:
During installation of fastmenu GOLD two files are copied
to either your ROOT or DOS directory (BRUN45.EXE &
GOLD.BAT). You must have a path statement in your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file telling DOS where to locate these
files. A sample AUTOEXEC.BAT file with the minimum path
statement you need to run fastmenu GOLD is included.
ALSO if you make any changes to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file,
make sure you re-boot your system afterwards.
ALSO If you give a copy of this software to a friend, PLEASE
do not just make a copy from your hard drive. It must
be installed with the INSTALL.BAT file to run properly.
The following is a list of files needed to run fastmenu GOLD.
If you received fastmenu GOLD in it's archived form or downloaded
it from a BBS, you should have two file:
GOLD40A.ZIP
GOLD40B.ZIP
After un-zipping GOLD40A.zip you should have the following
list of files.

A complete manual is on disk (MANUAL.DOC). You may print it
out on your printer. At the DOS prompt type: COPY MANUAL.DOC PRN.
NOTE ! For proper operation please follow the installation
instructions provided in the manual. After the installation
of fastmenu GOLD to your hard drive, you should have the
following directory and files on your hard drive.
You will have a new directory called 'GOLD', with the following
files in it.

Also you will have two new files in your DOS directory:
GOLD .BAT ?? ?/??/?? Depending on your setup.
BRUN45 .EXE 77440 8/05/91
If you do not have a DOS directory these two files will be copied
to your root directory.
To install fastmenu GOLD simply insert disk #1 into any drive,
move to that drive and type: INSTALL <enter>. Follow onscreen
instructions to complete the installation.
